Elephant Essay

Elephant EssayMany people view the testing of their students on a lot of different learning experiences, and I'd like to focus on something that many students have little experience with - elephants. An elephant is a big guy and testing students on an elephant requires a lot of lateral thinking.Students have to make different behavioral choices based on what situation they are in, how they're dressed, where they are, etc. This makes for a very difficult task to do, but students are trained to do it. So, let's talk about the elephant essay. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about this type of essay is when you are walking through a nature reserve or a jungle with no trees and a high palm tree. What do you do? If you are walking with a companion, you may want to hold hands and walk away, if not, keep going. If the subject's safety is in question, keep walking. If you know the subject, and you are certain that he/she will be fine, then walk slowly and ask them questions abo ut what is going on. If you can't ask, keep walking. Most people will keep walking.Even if the subject starts to run, stay beside him/her and do not move. (You don't want to antagonize them!)If they seem to be close to the ground, they are getting nervous and want to get away, then stand still, and look at them closely. If they start to turn around, then stay still. If they suddenly change direction or act scared, then run! If they come up to you and appear scared, then quickly run!Sometimes, depending on the subject, they might jump or stop and look at you, so keep moving. At times, they will scream and swear at you, so feel free to grab them by the ear and push them away. That helps!Do not force them or intimidate them. Keep your voice low and calm and you will be fine.
